Insects live and work in a world of amazing botanical structure and intense color that we can barely imagine. I try to capture the beauty of these wildly varied and amazingly successful creatures, in the small yet dazzling world they live in.

Blue Fronted Dancer Damselfly
The Blue-Fronted Dancer (Argia apicalis) is a species of damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae, native to parts of North America. This one is resting briefly on Butterfly Weed (Asclepias tuberosa) in Minnesota.
