Insects live and work in a world of amazing botanical structure and intense color that we can barely imagine. I try to capture the beauty of these wildly varied and amazingly successful creatures, in the small yet dazzling world they live in.

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly
Papilio glaucus, the eastern tiger swallowtail, is a species of swallowtail butterfly native to eastern North America. This one is feeding on Swamp Milkweed, Asclepias incarnata.
