Minneapolis Skyways
I find unique and interesting photos while roaming the miles of skyways connecting 80 blocks in downtown Minneapolis. There's architecture, design, light, color and geometry; and history, the old and the new side-by-side. Some buildings are the glass-and-steel of today, others are 19th century brick and stone. The best of the skyways live up to the name and offer great views of the street while letting in the daylight from above; others are just functional and even a bit shabby. It's a great place to be in the winter, when the streets below are cold gray slush.
Prints of all my photos are available here.
